Leslie and Dallas met on the Operation Starting Line (OSL) tour, a ministry founded by Billy Graham, Chuck Colson, and many other prominent Christian leaders. As a Pastor and the Director of Proclamation for the Billy Graham Center and Missions America, Dallas trains the artists who speak and perform how to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, and Leslie, as a speaker sat under his teaching.

The now married couple were friends for several months, enjoying ministry together on the OSL tour and other opportunities as the Lord permitted. Leslie joined Dallas on his 160-acre ranch, Rolling Meadows, to speak for a summer Cowboy Church that he’s had for several years, ministering to the unsaved in South Dakota. Dallas and Leslie also served together in a ministry capacity at the Sioux Falls Empire State Horse Fair. As their friendship developed it became clear that the Lord was bringing them together as more than friends and collaborators in ministry. Dallas and Leslie were married on June 10, 2006.

Today, Dallas and Leslie minister and travel together as much as possible since both their schedules and jobs demand that they be road warriors. They anticipate writing a book together on evangelism in the near future. They enjoy working the ranch when they can (caretakers who live on the ranch care for the animals when they travel), and have numerous horses, including a stallion, Dude ‘n Diamonds, who travels the show circuit with a trainer during the show season, two dogs (Brie and Jake), and a variety of other wild life. In their spare time and when their schedule permits them one on one time, they enjoy entertaining on the ranch, traveling to warm environments, going on mission trips, and studying and reading God’s Word together.
